Course Content
The course begins with an introduction to the key concept of Orientalism / Occidentalism with a view both historical and contemporary, and the current implications of this problem. They will be taken into considerations the classic work of Edward Said, but also the latest riflesione Jean Ziegler. The course will focus then the intercultural encounter problems as a political perspective, education and communication.
