Course program
The course has three main objectives: 1) to clarify the philosophical implications of a reconfiguration of the sense of aesthetics from a theory of perception, 2) to analyze the aesthetic dimension of new media and its impact on the dynamics of communication; 3) to define the specificity of the languages of art and its ontology, starting from different positions of Nelson Goodman and Richard Wollheim
The relationship of the Course, in its articulation of themes, with the broader context of Theories of Communication is offered by focusing the issue of a new sensus communis aestheticus, starting from the interfaces in context Multi- and Hypermedia, as a way of overcoming the conceptual difference between objects and attitudes.
